The premise of this project was to create something for practical use in everyday life. I wanted to create something that I both like aesthetically and worked well in its functionality with a sturdy shape.

E3: wearable laser-cut headdress
E3 is a wearable headdress made from 1/8" laser-cut wood. Organic in shape and tone, E3 emphasizes the curves and symmetry of human facial structure.
An early sketch.
Prototype 1 is shown, prototype 2 is in progress and will explore different materials that E3 can be made from, as well as different structures that can be made out of the same cut shapes.

A wire project made to visualize what sound looks like -- the sound for this was a swift blade cutting ripe fruit.
